PROGRAMME PERSPECTIVE:

 Safety Training is of  utmost importance since it is crucial to maintain a safe work environment and to avoid workplace accidents. Every employee needs to be aware of  safety precautions to be followed while performing the job and also to know how to prevent accidents and to respond to emergency situations. It is not always possible to have regular training sessions for this purpose, at the same time training cannot be unduly delayed.  In such situations, seminars / workshops on safety training ensures timely training for employees, who will then feel confident and reassured at work, which makes them much more productive.  In the Pharmaceutical industry, considering the usage of a large number of basic chemicals in the production of bulk drugs and drug intermediates employees work on research, development, manufacturing as well as testing of  various drugs in the laboratories wherein safety training must be given to the employees before they actually begin working, which in turn will help the employees to work safely. Moreover, such training needs to be repeated periodically to better assimilate the subject matter,  

TECHNIQUES

The training will be conducted through   lectures,  presentation, group discussions and question and answers session.
