World Environment Day 2011 Celebrations, Goa

World Environment Day, commemorated every year on 5 June, is an important day through which the United Nations promotes worldwide awareness of the environment related problems. Green Triangle Society, an NGO dedicated towards promotion of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment celebrates World Environment Day each year in a befitting manner.

 

Green Triangle Society in association with Inspectorate of Factories & Boilers, Govt. of Goa
have come together to celebrate World Environment Day on the
theme for the year 2011 - "Forests: Nature at Your Service. ' in Goa by organizing a Seminar on 7^th June 2011

 

This theme reflects forest issues and their numerous economic, environmental and social benefits. This year's theme gives you plenty of room to be creative. Figure out clever ways to link your activities to the official theme! Think of punchy messaging that will attract the most attention and motivate others to get involved!

 

Two eminent speakers in the field of Environment & Energy censer will be the faculty for the program. First Presentation will be on the "World Environment Day 2011 theme and General Awareness on Protection Challenges by Shri Rajendra Patil, Head- SHE, Syngenta India Ltd., followed by a Presentation on "Surya – Energy Conservation Drive" by Syngenta Ltd., by Shri R M Seralathan, Head Engineering, Syngenta India Ltd. The programme will be followed by Lunch hosted by M/s Syngenta India Ltd.

 

The organizers extend a most cordial invitation to the stake holders and beneficiaries from emissions reduction to depute your representatives for the programme. Since there are limited seats, you are requested to confirm your participation in advance, by email, Fax or sms by 6^th June 2011
